Japanese citizens are eligible to apply for a Saudi e-Visa. Japan is there on the eligible countries list.

Essential Requirements to apply for all e-Visa types

  • Valid Japanese Passport of the traveler
  • A passport photo is necessary

  • The residence address of the Japanese citizen

Additional Requirements to Obtain an Umrah e-Visa

  • Only Muslim pilgrims are allowed to perform and apply for a Saudi Umrah e-Visa.
  • The pilgrim must carry a Meningitis Vaccination Record issued at least 10 days before and not more than three years before the trip to Saudi Arabia.
  • If a Japanese pilgrim converts to Islam but does not have a Muslim name, they should bring a certificate from a mosque or Islamic organization proving their Muslim identity.
  • Women and children must be accompanied by their male relatives (Mahram) is a must. Also, carrying a birth certificate of the kid that lists both parents' names, or a marriage certificate for a woman is needed. Moreover, to enter and exit Saudi Arabia, Mahram must board the same airplane as his wife and kids.
  • A woman over 45 must carry an official document from her Mahram approving her to travel with the specified group. If she has a document then she can travel to perform Umrah without mahram.

Visit the Saudi e-Visa official website. Check your eligibility. Go to the Application Form to start the process. Fill out your personal, passport, address, residence address in Saudi Arabia, and travel and employment information.

After this Upload your recent passport-style photo and your valid passport. Double-check the application form and ensure that it is error-free. Go to the declaration part, read, and tick on them.

Make your final payment using your debit/credit card and click the Submit button. This way you can apply for a Saudi e-Visa for Japanese citizens.
