Know everything about a Saudi e-Visa
Saudi e-Visa is a digital travel document that allows travelers from eligible countries to enter & travel around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi e-Visa holders can participate in tourism, business meetings, events, or conferences. They can also visit their family & friends, and perform Umrah. According to the purpose of the visit, travelers can choose one e-Visa type from the following list-
- Saudi Tourist e-Visa - For sightseeing, recreational
- Family & Relatives - For meeting friends, family & relatives
- Saudi Tourist/ Umrah e-Visa- To perform Umrah
- Saudi Business/events e-Visa- To attend Business, events, and conferences
Validity, Entries, and Stay
Holders of all Saudi e-Visa types have -
- Validity - Saudi e-Visa has a validity of 1 year
- Entries - Fortunately, multiple entries are allowed
- Continuous Stay - 180 days in total. However, only 90 days are allowed for a single entry
Requirements to get a Saudi e-Visa
The following list applies to all e-Visa types.
- Traveler’s Valid French Passport
- A scanned passport-style photo of the French traveler
- Valid email address of the traveler
- French Residence address
- Purpose of the Journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Financial Proof of the traveler
- Return Ticket
- A valid debit/credit card is needed to make the final payment (please do not share any OTP or number. We do not ask for it)
- Other travel documents like accommodations, invitation cards/letters, reservations, etc.
Additional requirements to get an Umrah e-Visa from France
- Only French Muslim pilgrims from France can apply for an Umrah e-Visa.
- A Meningitis Vaccination Document is necessary. It must be issued at least 10 days before and not more than three years before the Umrah pilgrimage.
- If the pilgrim has converted to Islam but is not confirmed on a Muslim name, then, a document from a mosque or Islamic organization confirming the pilgrim’s Muslim status is necessary.
- A birth certificate of the kid that lists both parents' names or a marriage certificate for a woman is needed. Women and children must be accompanied by their husbands, fathers, or other male relatives (Mahram).
- The Mahram must board the same airplane as the women and kids to enter and exit the country.
- A woman over 45 can travel to perform Umrah. But she must have an official document from Mahram approving her travel with the specified group.

How long does it take to process a Saudi e-Visa application form?

Understand about the Saudi e-Visa Insurance
Travel insurance is required for all e-Visa applicants.
- Validity - It has the same validity as your e-Visa.
- Coverage- Includes emergency medical care, hospitalization, and other services.
- Providers - KSA-approved insurance companies.
- About the Claim- Instructions will be included in the insurance document. You will receive the insurance document along with your approved Saudi e-Visa.
- Exclusions - They are also specified in the document: pre-existing conditions, non-emergency situations, problems induced by overdoing something, etc.
A step-by-step guide to applying for a Saudi e-Visa for French citizens
- Step 1- Visit the Saudi e-Visa official website
- Step 2 - Check for Eligibility
- Step 3 - Find the Application Form
- Step 4 - Start filling out the Application Form including, Personal Details, Passport Details, Address Details, Travel and Employment Details, and Residence Address in Saudi Arabia.
- Step 5 - Upload your recent passport-style photo
- Step 6 - Upload your French Passport (with a validity of more than 6 months)
- Step 7 - Read the Applicant’s Declaration Part and tick the boxes.

- Step 9 - Click Proceed to Payment. Carry a debit/credit card for the final payment
